Also in attendance were Camilla Belle and Maria Sharapova, who talked tennis and clothes. “This is my first couture show,” enthused Sharapova, while Belle raved about recently attending the Wimbledon tennis tournament in London. Sharapova, who has been collaborating with Nike on her tennis outfits, said she takes inspiration from the cities she travels to for her on-court look. “We are pushing the boundaries of what we wear all the time, and Nike works with a lot of mills in Italy so we’re working with some incredible fabrics,” she said. I have added lots of image of various new events to the gallery. On June 14 Camilla attended a Private Dinner Honoring Rihanna hosted by GUCCI and Joe Zee in Beverly Hills. On June 20 she was at the Veuve Clicquot Hosted 3.1 Phillip Lim Los Angeles Store Opening. And on June 21 Camilla arrived at the Ralph Lauren Wimbledon Garden Party at Froebel House, Roehampton Lane, in south west London. She is currently in England cheering for her pal Maria Sharapova who has advanced to the second round at Wimbledon with a 6-1, 6-4 win over French qualifier Stephanie Foretz.

Oscar-nominated Vancouver film producer Bill Vince has died of cancer. He was 44.

Vince produced the Oscar best-picture nominee Capote, which won the best actor statue for star Philip Seymour Hoffman in 2006. Vince, in the audience that night at the Kodak Theatre, was the first person Hoffman thanked upon winning the award for the Manitoba-filmed movie.

At the time of his death, Vince was steering to completion the sci-fi thriller Push, filmed in Hong Kong by director Paul McGuigan and actors Camilla Belle, Dakota Fanning and Chris Evans. That movie comes out next year. As well, Vince was producing the B.C.-made stop-motion animation fantasy Edison and Leo, set for release this fall.

Unlike some twosomes where it’s pretty well established they are a couple, there’s others where it is just pondered and heavily gossiped (while waiting for an inside scoop). Both Camilla Belle and Maria Sharapova have had sapphic rumors swirling for years (before they started hanging with each other) and in the last year they have swirled even more. It may be resort season for the fashion pack, but Miu Miu still managed to pack Tokyo’s Chateâu Restaurant Joël Robuchon for a recap of fall-winter. The Italian brand staged its first fashion show in Japan, inviting Rinko and Camilla Belle to grace the front row. Postshow, a lively after party spilled out into the restaurant’s garden as guests nibbled on mini rounds of foie gras and kicked back flutes of pink Champagne. Belle, who just wrapped filming on the coming-of-age drama “A’ Deriva” with Vincent Cassel in Brazil, was upbeat about her first trip to Tokyo and plotting to take in the street fashion of Harajuku on her last day in the city. “We’re dashing from place to place to try and see everything,” she said. “I can’t wait to come back.” [SOURCE]

20th Century Fox has set a February 27, 2009 release date for video game adaptation Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li. The action film stars Kristin Kreuk, Michael Clarke Duncan, Neal McDonough, Taboo, Chris Klein, Moon Bloodgood, Edmund Chen, Cheng Pei Pei, Josie Ho and Robin Shou.

The studio is also bringing back box Alvin and the Chipmunks in a sequel on March 19, 2010. The first film, which featured Jason Lee, David Cross, Cameron Richardson, Jane Lynch and Justin Long, collected an impressive $358.4 million worldwide.

Summit Entertainment has targeted a February 6, 2009 release date for Paul McGuigan’s new thriller, Push. The movie stars Chris Evans, Dakota Fanning, Camilla Belle and Djimon Hounsou.

And John Cena returns to the big screen in the Renny Harlin-directed 12 Rounds, scheduled for a March 13, 2009 release. [SOURCE]

Camilla attended the New York City premiere of the new “Narnia” movie entitled “Prince Caspian”. Camilla’s been very busy attending events in New York in the last few days. Let’s hope she’ll continue making some more appearances, soon.
